Thank you!Good lookin Jeep!
Thank you!Good lookin Jeep!
Runs comfortable and has power to spare. Things are a different story on the interstate with all seats full. With one or two riding, it feels fine but beyond that it's a little harder on the engine.Love the build! How does the jeep run with 35s and 3:73's?
:happyyes: the first step is admitting you have a problem...Alas this jeep was sold. I'm in pain right now...can't keep off the forum and thinking about getting another. It is a curse I tell ya, but a good one.![]()
Ha, I think I tripped over that first step a few days ago.:happyyes: the first step is admitting you have a problem...
funny I believe I had that realization around a month ago. I finally stopped talking about it and pulled the trigger.Ha, I think I tripped over that first step a few days ago.
Do you some pictures of the new one yet? Haven't checked the other thread lately.funny I believe I had that realization around a month ago. I finally stopped talking about it and pulled the trigger.
actually no, i'll go snap a couple and load them up.Do you some pictures of the new one yet? Haven't checked the other thread lately.
The photos with KM2s and the BFGs were on 15x8s but the last photos are with GY Kevlars on 17s. The 15 wheels were level 8 trackers.Great build!!
your running 15 inch wheels any issues with them also what brand are they.?
Awesome Commando, ESP! :happyyes:
How did you like the 35" on 15"s? I'm in the market for new rubber, and I'm debating the old 15s for cheaper tires vs. stock wheel with spacers dilemma.
Thank you! The commando jeep was sold about 6 months ago. I've run 35s on 15, 16, and 17 inch wheels. There are pros and cons to all. After personally running them and even multiple sets on each, I would choose 15x8s over the others again in the future. Cost and look is just more my style.Meant to add: was there a reason you switched to 17s?
Sorry to hear that. I have a 2013 JKUR in Commando, and I rarely see any in MO. I guess that's a plus!Thank you! The commando jeep was sold about 6 months ago. It was really just cost. Nothing at all wrong with the set your considering. :thumb:Sorry to hear that. I have a 2013 JKUR in Commando, and I rarely see any in MO. I guess that's a plus!
Besides cost (and a little less rubber to protect wheels while wheeling), what drawbacks are there to the 35 with 17s? I've got an excel spreadsheet full of tire and wheel combos, along with cost, and right now I'm leaning towards 315/70/17 on stock wheels with spacers. I usually only wheel about 10 days out of the year, moderate trails on my DD.
