It sounds throatier than mine.. my 50 delta is really muffled and bassy.. I'll try to take a sound clip tomorow since i dont have my tailpipe on :D...loud but sounds good... (gotta borrow a camera since mine doesnt record sound)

Here is a sound clip of my 50 delta muffler with all stock piping...

It sounds quite different with no tailpipe at all

I'm currently working on making a 2.5" tail piping

the system i have has aluminized piping from the muffler back. i just got the guy at the exhaust shop to wel in regular pipe for the hi flo cat. i got it as a kit on ebay for like $130 shipped. i love it.

here is the exact kit i bought. it actually is a flowmaster kit, not something that some guy hacked together. they also have it for the flanged exhaust like you have, but if you've already cut that flange off to mount your 50 series you would probably want to get the 97-99 with the slip fit. let us know what you decide to do.

Did any of your exhaust give you better gas milage or is it just for the sound? thanks :)
no big difference on gas mileage. it got a little better, but it was more noticable when i put my intake on. (i put the exhaust on first).
