Need to replace an exhaust manifold on a 95 YJ 2.5L 4 cyl. The bolt appears to be broken off. Is this a difficult fix and should I replace with an expensive aftermarket manifold or stock? Any advice would be appreciated.
Why replace the manifold if it's just a broken bolt?
Is it the rear mounting bolt? Very typical if it is.
Very tough to get at as well. If you can get the header off and the bolt out I would just replace the bolt. If you drill out the broken bolt be careful not too drill too far and get into the water jacket.
Not a big gain in power with a header for that engine, but it does help some.
