I hate to be one to post poor things about a company on here, especially one I try to do a lot of business with, but has anyone else been having trouble on here with getting Jake to respond to inquiries for price quotes?

I sent a private message to Jake on March 27th asking for a price quote...over a week later he responded and said he'd been on vacation and the product in question wasn't offered by Extreme Terrain. I responded immediately with the link directly to the product page on their website showing the product (as well as it being in stock).

That was a week ago without a response. I sent my message back to him while he was still online (ten minutes after his message to me) and he's been online here three times since then but hasn't responded to any of my messages.

I chatted in with one of the XT reps who confirmed they do, in fact, sell the product. I really want to ignore the growing sentiment among people on this forum that Extreme Terrain is losing a step, but it's becoming harder and harder to ignore the lack of customer service for issues like this, or mishandled shipping, or faulty products.

I've ordered a LOT from Extreme Terrain and I've had plenty of interactions with Jake in the past where he's helped me get good deals...anyone know what's been changing there as of late?

We talked earlier in the PM you sent me, but I wanted to get back to you here as well. Since returning from vacation I have unfortunately been tied up with some other projects. My apologies for not getting back to you in my usual timely manner though!

Glad I could get you set up with your two orders today and I hope you can keep your faith in us now that we're back up to speed.

In regards to any issues you have or heard of, please feel free to tag me or reach out to me directly in a PM. I unfortunately don't have eyes everywhere, but I would absolutely like to make sure that any and all problems are handled as soon as possible.

I am having the same problem I got a PM from Jake as well but nothing since even though I have sent more to him. XT is where i have bought 90% of the few things for my older TJ and now JK. I have liked them and would also like to keep doing business with them but they are making REALLY HARD TO DO.

Things happen. People get busy. Hell, sometimes the people working the forums quit and don鈥檛 leave the passwords behind for the next guy!

I would try just giving them a call. If they can鈥檛 get what you need, don鈥檛 put work into it. Go to the next vendor and get back to enjoying Jeeping! :)
