I needed some extra room for a 10-day expedition to Colorado. However, I could not find anything I liked or could afford, so I had a friend of mine fab up an aluminum safari rack and hard mounts for the roll bar. While I was at it, I had him weld some custom Rotopax mounting plates, then had everything Superlined to match the Jeep. Worked like a charm - enjoy.

Wow!! Looks (and clearly functions) GREAT!

Can you provide more more info on the install, particularly on the overhead rack? What does it attach to with both the hard top and no/soft top on?

Thanks for any further info you can provide, and again - looks great. Love the action shots too!!

Thanks, I used Monster mounts commonly used for wakeboard towers. The rack is 1" tube, so we cut 1" bar stock to bolt the rack to the mount. Works like a charm and is rock solid.

I will try to take some pictures of the mounts tomorrow. So far, it is only mounted to the roll cage. I still need to finish the hard top mount.
