Hi everyone, haven't posted here in a while. I've bought a few Jeeps lately and noticed a lot of differences in the model years for the YJ. I was wondering if anyone could give me some insight on the factory options for each model year.

The 1991 I just bought, to my surprise, did not have power steering. It also had no passenger side mirror and the seats did not recline. It is a 4 cylinder 5 speed. I am assuming this was the "base" model, or "Jeep Wrangler S."

I have also owned a 1991 years back, but it was an automatic with the 4.0 6 cylinder and had power steering, reclining seats, etc.

I also had a 1995 that I just sold that was a 4 cylinder 5 speed, but rode a LOT smoother than the 91 and had all the options.

All information appreciated. I am very interested in knowing these differences as I buy and sell more Jeeps. Can't get enough Jeep history!
