Will I have any problems with re spooling if the winch is not lined up with the fairlead?

I installed a new Rugged Ridge Aluminum bumper and my Warn 9.5ti will not fit in the mounting holes provided. I was thinking of drilling new holes 1.5 inches offset from the the original holes. My concern is that now the winch is offset from the fairlead. Will this cause any problems?

Should be centered left to right. You want it the line to spool properly so it doesnt wrap on itself backwards, and you want to be able to utilize all of drum anyway. You can always have an aluminum plate made to cover any existing "hole" underneath the fairleed.

So you are saying to move the fairlead over if I need to muove the winch over, right?

Yes, just make sure they are line up with one another. The less cutting you have to do on the front, the better (visually).
