I'm not sure if mine are "A/T3W" or not, but I love my 37" Wildpeaks.. I replaced a set of STT Pros (which I was also happy with) but the Wildpeaks are quieter on the highway and cost a bit less.. both were far quieter and less prone to chunking than my BFGs ...

Been running them for over a year on my '12 JKU "NotARubicon" - I've put about 10k miles (mostly very hard rock-crawling) on them and they're still holding up well.

loving my falken at3w pizza cutters 255/80-17. I would not hesitate to get another set in 35's when my 35" coopers wear out.

Love them. 285/75R17. Great in all winter conditions, on the trail and on the highway. I run them between 28-30 psi on the highway. I have 10,000+ on them and they are wearing extremely well.

There are only two things I would say against them: they are not as good as an MT in the mud and they are Made in Taiwan not the USA :)

Same tires. I have the E rated and I believe they have deeper treads. I love them. Great on snow and ice without having an actual snow tire. Better than my KO2s hands down.

I ran a set of A/T3Ws on a F-150 for 3 years. I was one of the first guys to ever buy a set when they came out in March 2016. EXCELLENT tire...probably the best overall tire in the all-terrain segment.

Thanks for the replies. I just ordered a full set of A/T3W's through Discount Tire Direct. Unfortunately, the old BF M/T's still have a lot of tread left but are cracking around the lugs so it's time to put em out to pasture.

Didn't need to. I got a huge discount because of DTs price match policy. I found a ebay seller selling his remaining stock of 2 tires at $150 each. I saved $58 per tire. I also scored a set of closeout wheels @ 70% off. In all I Spent $1250 for 5 tires and wheels, mounted and balanced including tax shipped to my house.

I am happy with my 235-80-17-E's, made in Thailand. Excellent wear and traction in dry pavement, wet, dirt, snow, etc.

pkdailey4, sounds like you got a great deal. Thank you for your business.
Curious if he would have qualified for the extra $50 even with the deal he got?

Thanks for the question, Jeff.

A price match can not be combined with exclusive incentives, which includes the $50.00 savings when purchasing 5 tires at Discount Tire Direct.

So I am looking at these in a 265/70/17 for my 2014 Rubicon Unlimited, and the only concern I have is the load rating. In this size, these are an SL load rating, which I believe is a 4 ply. Will this be a heavy enough sidewall if I want to do some mild offroading/trails? I'm just concerned with the ability of the sidewall to hold up to anything it may encounter. And I don't pull anything with my Jeep, no hitch!

If you have a rubicon you should really look at 255/80-17's just for the extra height they will give you. the 265/70-17 are even shorter than stock 255/75-17.

If you are going off road in rocks, etc. the standard load (SL) passenger car tires aren't the best choice. My 235's are 1/4 inch shorter in diameter than the stock 255's but are E rated truck tires. I am happy with them, and used the Superchips Flashcal to adjust the speedometer/odometer readings. And, by the way the stock setting for the 255s was not accurate; it was 1/2 inch too tall, using measured miles to check the odometer readings. That factory setting falsely inflated mpg readings, speed readouts, and more importantly, odometer readings, cheating me out of some warranty miles.

Jordanharms-

Happy Thursday!

If you went with the 265/70/17 you would be able to get the 10ply option. A few things to notate. There are guys who run the SL version of the tire for a daily driver and light off-roading. The benefit of the 10ply would be its resilience if you were to air it down, along with resistance to rocks and punctures.
