Hey everyone I'm removing my tranny this weekend cause a bearing went bad. What would be the quickest or easiest way to remove it. Should I unbolt it from the t-case and pull just the tranny or pull them both as one unit?

And is there anything special I have to do to remove the tranny? I already know about the e-12 bolts up top but is there anything else?

If your only changing the throw bearing you don't even need to remove the trans/tcase entirely from the jeep, just disconnect the shift linkage, remove shifter & Driveshafts, unbolt the skid & Transmission and slide it back on a jack.

im pretty sure its the input bearing so I will have to remove it entirely. Once I have all the bolts off the trans will it come off pretty easily? And about how much does it weigh?

I hope you are going to replace the whole clutch kit .. not just the bearing!

Not sure if you been to this tutorial already ... but here it is:
