I need to get 17" wheels for my LJ. Looking for something that can take a beating and doesn't have the valve stem in a stupid place. Also looking for something that isn't all black.

Please post what you have if it fits this criteria.

After a 5 minute search, I like the looks of this Mammoth wheel. Doesn't look like they make a 17", but I like the look and features.

ATX Ravine is my favorite wheel. Kind of meets your criteria too.

I do like those wheels, though doesn't look like they will work with the backspacing. I need to get to 4" and it's a TJ.

So right now looking at doing some stock JK moab wheels and add some adapters. Should be close to the 4".

Ahh, missed the back spacing... Ok, a quick look on quadratec and they have a handful of wheels listed. The Fuel Anza is 4.5 back spacing in 8 wide and a nice wheel...

Or these Dirty Life would be something I would certainly run, it's 4" on an 8.5 wide...

The spacer setup would be a hell of a lot less $$ as JK take off wheels are all over the place.

4.5 is too much, but that dirty life wheel has the perfect specs. Although a bit pricey. I might buy those to avoid having to use a spacer. Thank you VERY much for finding that. Now I have options.

I like that Quadratec has the option of filtering by backspacing. Most of the other sites don't have that option.

I'm removing my color restriction because the specs I want are almost non-existent. My priority is now specs and price.

So changing gears again: Talked to my expert and he thinks 3.75 BS would be best. Since there are no TJ wheels that meet that spec, I will get a JK wheel that is 5" BS.

I already have JK to TJ adapters that are 1.25", so that will make the JK wheels the 3.75 that I need. This is better selection wise, plenty of JK wheels to choose from in a 5". This is the current contender. At $99, it's budget friendly too. I'm still looking, but these are going to be hard to beat.

Yeah, that would be easy since you already have the spacers.

Why 17's on a TJ? 15's are readily available in 3.75 and the tires are hugely less expensive and work better crawling...

I ordered the above.

I'm moving to 37's with a bigger brake kit, won't fit with 35's. I have 35's on 15's now.
