Hey fellow TJ lovers,

I've got a 2001 TJ with a hard top on it. The back glass got broken out the other night, and the Jeep is at the collision center now getting fixed... here's the problem. The glass that they got ordered in hangs too low on the hinges. There is about 2 inches of clearance between the upper sill of the back glass and the top of the back glass piece. Did they make different size windows or different size hinges? Does anyone know how to proceed? Are the hinges too long? Is the glass different for different model years? I need an answer soon because I can't afford to rent ANOTHER car to go home in today.

Plz halp fast k thx.

Maybe they ordered glass for a YJ?

So why are you having to figure this out and not the Collision Center? Seems like its on them to resolve and get the correct part.

Update:

I got to the shop and looked at it... Monkeys had the damn hinges on backwards.

*sigh*
