Ok, so I figured I'd make a thread on what I did to help those that are thinking of doing the same.

I did the INSIDE BED on my 2004 Wrangler, things may be different on yours. I chose Herculiner because I could find it and I liked how spiky it was. Also, I got carded before I bought it, had to be 18+ lol. I only bought 1 Gallon and did the whole bed.

-- Things You'll Need --
Bedliner
Socket Wrench
Socket Extensions
Breaker Bar (Helpful, not necessary)
6-15mm sockets
T-47 Star Socket
Paint brush and/or Roller
Stir Stick 1-2 (liner needs to be stirred regularly, Rubber settles at bottom)
Sand Paper (I used 60-80grit and that green thing. I wouldn't go over 120grit)
Rubber Gloves <-- a must!
Clothes you don't mind destroying. (recommend long sleeves, shoes and pants)
Paper Towels
Painters Tape
Mask (if you are sensitive to fumes and dust, it's strong)
-- I Think That's It --

[[--STEP 1--]] Removal

-Take that Carpet out! Rip out the carpet, give the bed some fresh air!

-Takes out the Rear Seats!
Remove the seat and remove the seat brackets. Use the T-47 Star and wrench/Breaker Bar (Can be tough if you've never removed them before.)

-Take off seat belt bolts!
Caution! DO NOT let the belts retract completely. I took off the side windows and hung them out side the jeep. If they retract completely they will get stuck in that "Restraint" mode and then you can move the belt to reinstall them. I did that, lol only got 1 working Rear seat belt now.

-Take out Front Seats! They are held in by 3 bolts and 1 Star bolt. A small wrench will come in handy here. I believe they are 13mm bolts and a T47 bolt. Caution! the Drivers Seat has an electric cored that goes from the Center Consul that run under it. MAKE Sure to disconnect it! I didn't know it was there and ripped it out of the seat. XD lol. I have no idea what it does though.

-Take out Consul!
Its held in by 4 screws. 1 under the main Cup Holders, 2 under the Rear Cup holders and 1 under the shit boot. Pull the rubber in the Cup holders out and unscrew them. Pull the shit boot forward and up to release it, then pull it up to reveal the screw on the passenger side. Place the Transfer leaver in Neutral (N) or Four-Low (4L) to make it easier to remover. **Optional! I remover the shifter nob completely just so it wouldn't get in the way. It's a T45 or T40 star i think...

-Move those Wires!
There should be wires running down the body on the Drivers side. Pop the clips and Move/Tape them to the outside of the body. Or just out of the way.

-Take out the Drain plugs!
You don't have to, but I'd recommend it. Take a knife or something flat and pop them off! (can be annoyingly tough just FYI)

**OPTIONAL STUFF!**

-I removed the doors completely just to make it easier to get in and out.
-I kept the Roll Bars and Padding on the whole time. I'm not sure how to remove all that, but I'm sure you can find it somewhere if you so desire.
-I kept the top on due to a flaw in my top, I can't take it off much. I'm sure it would make thing easier if you take it off if possible.

[[--STEP 2--]] Prep <-- Where you will spend most time.

-Time for some cleaning!
Wash out the interior and get out any dirt.

-Bring in the sand!
This is the time consuming part. It's pretty self explanatory though. You don't have to remove the paint, just make groves so that the Liner can sink in. A mask will come in handy when doing this part, The dust gets everywhere. Also get a rang or two so you can wipe it away as you go.

-Clean number 2!
Time to clean again, try and get as much of that dust out as possible. I wish i had an air compressor, that would make this part easy.

-Tape and Plug!
Plug all the holes with Paper towels/Shop Towels. Tape the pedals, unless you are doing the pedals too. Tape anything are aren't going to paint over. (I also taped over the VIN codes on the door panels and under the seat. Figured I'd keep those available if needed.)

[[--STEP 3--]] Line it

-Get ready for awesomeness!
Get on some clothes (Recommend long sleeves and pants and shoes) you don't mind destroying. Put in some rubber gloves and if needed Mask and Safety Glasses.

-Pop it open!
Pop that liner open and stir it really well.

-Ready? PAINT!
This is really up to you how you want to do it. The liner should have instructions on it "How best to apply" kind of thing. You can flow that or find a way that works best for you. I put a light coat everywhere and then on the second coat I added a good amount to the "High Traffic areas" such as the back/trunk and the front floor boards. No sense in wasting Time/Liner under the Driver seat.

-Drying!
Depending on how you applied the liner, you may want to change out the Paper towel plugs/ tape. Your call. In the mean time, time to relax and snack/drink. **NOTICE! I did it at night... and it was cold... and it took 5 hours for the first coat to dry. Cold weather= Longer Drying time. I wish I knew that.

-I need more!!
Apply your second and/or third coat if necessary.

[[--STEP 4--]] Afterwards

-Photo shoot!
Take some pictures and post it! Lets see it!

-Take it for a spin!
Drive and air it out! The smell will stick around for quiet a while, Keep that in mind! Don't want your date to pass out on the way to dinner from the fumes X)

AAANNNDD that's it!

How far up each side did you do in the rear? What all did you bedline? (Did you do any details such as door handles) How much did you have left over after 2 coats?
That looks nice I want to do my 05 unlimited

I went all the way up and did the sides too.

I bed lined pretty much everything on the bed it's self. I did NOT do the tailgate, roll bars, dash bits, rear speaker housing, center consul or doors/handles

I still have 1-.5 quarts left. I need to do some touch ups though.

I have Monstaliner, do you think it'll keep good for touch ups? Or will it ruin. I'm just about to do mine tomorrow is why I have so many questions lol.

Can't say for sure, but if it's anything like Hercu, I'm sure it will be fine with touch ups. And no problem, its quite fun once you get going. And quite rewarding at the end. :punk:
I got my kit in the Garage waiting for some time to knock her out. Can't wait :) Nice Job there btw.
I think the seat bolt is a T50 TORX
Great writeup, Phoenix :thumb:
May want to proof read that a bit as I'm not sure "shit boot" is the proper term.

YAY!
I didn't remove the front seats, I just rolled under them then used a spray can for nooks and crannys. Worked fine. Sure is easier to clean out now.
Turned out a helluva lot better then my quickie Raptor Liner job that I only got to do one coat of, and I've already scratched through a couple thin spots within the week.
have you had any problems with the doors closing? nice write up btw
