i used large body washers with a nut and bolt. then silicone all around.

My dealer had one in stock, it cost me $1.25... if you are talking about the one that plugs the hole just above & to the right of the accelerator pedal that an automatic transmission uses for its shifter cable.

It isn't the long ovalish one is it? Kind of like the same one in the back floor board? If so you can get them off ebay rather cheap.

I've looked on eBay and many other sites. It's a round plug. Quadratec carries them, but only up to YJ
