Hi all,
Recently joined the Jeep family and bought a '97 TJ as a project car / Summer toy here in Ontario. Only 100,00km on it!

Bought new (used) tires recently and when I got home I noticed one of them is suffering from some cupping and had some flat spots all the way around on the treads.

Since the problem isn't with my vehicle and is just the tires is there a way to fix this or make it go away? Or am I better off the pawn off the other 3 tires and try again?

Tires are Nokian Vatiiva MT's 30x9.5r15 and have about 70% tread left. The other three tires are fine

Thanks!

You can't unwear a tire. Once a wear pattern starts it continues.

I would try it on the right rear.

IME putting the tire(s) with minor wear pattern issues in the rear bought me some time to fix the suspension issue.

You can search locally and see if anyone has a tire truing machine. You will lose miles, but sometimes they can fix a tire with bad wear patterns.
