I'm sure this question is probably "basic knowledge" for most people on here...but I need to ask anyway. When working on the front suspension and/or steering components, where is the best place to jack the jeep up with the floor jack & best place to put the jack stands to support it?

just to the pass side of the pumpkin, jack stands under the axle tubes by the shock mounts

I am only offering experience, but for me I put the floor jack under the front diff (piece of wood between) to lift front axle. When high enough I put jack stands near the lower control arm bracket. I have used these spots and so far I have had no problems. That works on my dana 30 and dana 44.
