Floor Mat Fitment - 2020 Jeep Willys JLU

Hey guys,

Just picked up my 2020 Willys and I am thrilled to have this vehicle and be part of the Jeep community!

I was wondering if anyone had an issue with what looks like a MOPAR all weather mat not fitting in the rear passenger seat. One of the two holes doesn’t align and the tip of the mat needs to be folded up because it hits equipment (not sure what it is) under the front passenger seat.

I am wondering if the prior owner ordered the wrong model mat; however, all other mats on the internet seem to not account for the equipment under the front passenger seat.

Welcome to the forum.

Did you buy the Jeep used? That looks like an underseat lock box from here.
Thanks for the welcome! Yep, I bought it with 18k miles. I am heading to the dealer tomorrow to ask about it. The back of the unit has vents which leads me to believe it is some kind of electrical unit. Although a lock box seems feasible based on the location. Still wondering why the holes on the mat don’t line up with the floor pegs.
That's got to be something installed by previous owner. Whatever it is, it's to blame, not the mat. If you want the object to remain there, you might just have to trim the mat.

That matt should go under the seat, not be folded up.

Now I am curious. I took more pics and I think it might be a subwoofer installed under the seat. Does anyone know if Jeep offers that as an option or is this an aftermarket install? It’s done really well and solid. Check out the picture with the knob. I guess it’s an Easter egg.

That is aftermarket for sure. Jeep subs are either in the center floor of 2 doors, or in the read side of 4 doors.

Looks more like an amp than a sub.
