Found some sort of fluid under my JKU today. Wiped it off and it reappeared later in the same places. I was able to drive home 100mi safely from the trail, though come to think of it, my steering has seemed a bit tight for the last few days. Any ideas?

My guess is that you somehow bumped the steering stabilizer, which may have bent it just a little bit (which could cause stiffer steering), and it looks to be leaking as well. Mine has been whacked a couple of times...seems it's in a sort of vulnerable position and prone to getting bumped once in awhile.

Ever come up with anything?

Definitely a coolant leak. I went through a gallon or so since the initial post. Would this be the source? What should I do - even if I wanted to take it to the dealer, they don't have openings for another 2.5 weeks.
