If it is mid 70's with a V6, it isn't stock. The last year for the 225 V6 was 71. Easy to tell the difference between 71's and 72's by the extra 4" or so at the bottom rear of the front fenders. On the pre 72's, the fender opening extends to the cowl while the later ones have a flat bottom on the fender in that area. Also, that change over switched from the D18 with an offset rear axle to the D20 with a centered rear axle, the Ross box steering was replaced by a much better Saginaw system, and the D27 front axle was replaced by the considerably stronger D30.Found a mid 70s cj I am going to take a look at. Three speed with original v6. Anything that I should be looking for that could rare a nasty head later?
