So I was just checking out the belly of the beast today, and found this line all chewed up, anyone wanna help me out on what this is? It goes back to the gas tank and up to an unknown black box in my engine compartment, right in front of my clutch and brake master cylinder.

Just a little alarming, any input would be great.

The black box should be the charcoal canister that traps the gas fumes from the tank. Part of your emissions stuff. You probably want to make sure there are no holes in that hose.

engine evap stuff, not critical but should get repaired.

A good double layer of electrical tape will fix that right up.
