Hello,
I currentky running rancho 5000x shocks for the last year and a half. Originally I loved the shocks but they have rusted and I'm looking to change them out for fox shocks.
Will I notice a difference in the ride with the change?
And does any know the difference in the two shocks below what makes IFP 40 dollars more?
FOX 2.0 Performance Series IFP Shock
And
FOX 2.0 Adventure Series

Thanks happy four

They will likely ride stiffer than the 5000x's, so keep that in mind. I have the 2.0 Performance IFPs and I am happy with them.

The IFPs have an aluminum body and the Adventure series have a steel body.

I seem to remember that the IFPs could be rebuilt when I was researching shock options.

I have been on both, but never on the same Jeep. Just in my experience, I'd say the Fox damping curves are about the closest to the 5000X that I have felt. So, I'm saying they are similar in my opinion...

As above the difference in the Fox is the aluminum body vs steel body.

I found this... These guys are known to be very harsh on gear they don't like.
