Did a search and see that everyone says to use rattle can, etc.

I'm looking for a better solution and found some paints on Quadratec.

- POR-15 Chassis Coat in Semi-gloss Black 14oz Aerosol Can
- POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating in Gloss Black (Quart)

What does everyone recommend, I would like something the inhibits rust and will last. I would also like something that matches factory frame paint as I will be doing touch ups and not repainting the entire thing.

I spray mine every spring (sometimes fall) with Satin Black Rustoleum. Even through the Chicago salt-ridden winters, the frame and axels look brand new after 5 years. Just keep up with it.

I use rustoleum black high heat engine paint. I spray a bunch in a bottle i cut in half and then use one of those spongy paint brushes. Just spraying it on makes a big mess. I brush a generous amount on the scratches and gouges. Let dry and then repeat to your hearts content. I like how the high temp stuff has a little ceramic material in it to.

No one has experience with the POR stuff? I'm gonna try to tackle this before I do all the lift and suspension upgrades.
