A little like the title says... I'm piecing together my own lift and salvaging what is currently installed.

I have a 4" skyjacker lift (Tcase drop, 4" springs, lower control arms, bump stops, sway bar disconnects, rear relocation bracket, dropped pitman arm... I know the pitman arm needs to go back to stock as well)

I just ordered Currie upper and lower control arms and advanced adapters SYE / TW drive shaft.

Do I need anything else to at least to get rid of the dropped Tcase?

Nope. But you will have to adjust your pinion angle. You might want to check your bump stops again after getting your pinion dialed in. Also, when rotating your pinion, you might have gas tank interference issues. Track bar bracket might need to be adjust too. Just take a good look at everything because when you change one thing, it usually means something else needs to be adjusted too.

I correct the pinion angle by extending the rear upper arms correct? are there any set measurements I should start with as a baseline?
Correct, but you may need to shorten your lowers if possible so you recenter the axle. If just lengthening the uppers, the control arm mount is the pivot point. When doing both, the axle is the pivot point.

Go to the tech sticky and read "setting up 8 adjustable control arms", you find all the info you need there.

hmm... lots of info in that thread, definitely more complex than I thought. I think im going to need the rear adjustable track bar and not just the skyjacker relocation bracket thats on there now

You will also want to pick up an angled rear track bar relocation bracket. It will keep your axle end track bar bushing from binding when you adjust your pinion angle up.

Edit: Missed your last post...An adjustable track bar is a good idea, but you will still want the angled bracket.

Will the skyjacker relocation bracket that's currently installed be enough you think? Or am I pretty much required to get the adjustable rear track bar to make the proper pinion angle adjustments with the control arms?

So I will be tackling this thing next week... Any advice on special tool required to do this thing would be great...

it will be myself and my dad who has a bad back... so mainly myself.

my current lift is the 4" skyjacker that came with a Tcase drop, 4" springs, rear track bar bracket, bump stops, shift linkage, dropped PA and lower control arms. I will be keeping the 4" springs and the bump stops... will I need to re adjust my bump stops?

here is a list of parts and tools list of what we have

**Parts**

8 currie control arms
RE rear track bar relocation bracket CV angled
Advanced adapters SYE
Tom Woods drive shaft

**Tools**
spring compressor
2 floor jacks
2 jack stands
standard hand tools (decent stock of hand tools... pry bars breaker bars lots of sockets....
I have NO air tools... can it be done without?
