I am getting ready to pull the trigger on a 3" Zone lift for my '01 TJ. For the time being I will be running factory control arms. I plan to use the transfer case drop that comes with the lift, do I need to go ahead and order the $30 cam bolt kit as well?

I have read where some guys use them and some don't. But, I have also read where you don't really need to do a t-case drop at 3". This isn't my daily driver but it does see more pavement than dirt so I want to keep the drive as comfortable as possible.

Any info from others running 3" lifts would be greatly appreciated.

Front cam bolts are useful for minor caster angle adjustments but that would not be required for a 3 inch suspension lift. And you're definitely need to do a small tcase drop for a 3 inch suspension left to eliminate the drivetrain vibrations it will cause.
