Geckos front Rzeppa joint went bad after 54k miles so I have the Teraflex high angle joint coming. But who has a replacement u joint for the pinion end of the front drive shaft ? The factory joint is staked in and Napa did not have a replacement part number. Anyone have any idea where to get it ?

It's not designed to be replaced. Could you? Yea probably. Your time and money would be better spent on a real driveshaft.

Well if I can replace a joint for $25 and get another 50k miles out of it I think I will be ahead of the game. Im just looking to see if anyone has a part number for a joint that will fit with inside c clips. TF made the Rzeppa high angle replacement joint now they need to market the ujoint for the other end.

Probably not. Cheaper and faster to pick up a "take off" when someone upgrades.
Or consider drive shaft upgrade.
Too bad you aren't out here, I've got a stock front drive shaft just taking up space in the garage.
Maybe check craigslist, or surf through the build threads to see if someone near you guys has recently upgraded the DS.

Good luck on this! :beerdrinking:

The stock driveshafts are terrible, I really wish teraflex wouldnt have come out with their "High angle" joint. It's giving people the idea that they can polish a turd.

4 wheel drive vehicles have used the same driveshaft for decades, in some form or fashion. Parts are different sizes, some are double cardan, etc. Why jeep had to change it up with this abortion is beyond me.
