So this might be a stupid question but I figured I'd ask so I don't waste money in case I am wrong.

I'm in the process of ordering a new driveshaft for the front off of a eBay shop who makes them. My old one is toast (deep scratches and gouges on the shaft) and it would be more cost effective to just replace it ($200 for a new one with Spicer ujoints), anyways I took the center measurement with the shaft removed, on level ground and got 40".

The only thing I'm worried about is the front dana 30 yoke and the np231 yoke are angled up so the aren't exactly inline with one another. Would this affect a proper measurement? I don't wanna take the wrong measurement and get the driveshaft to long or to short.

Specs:

2005 tj sport, 6 spd manual
Nsg370 tranny
Np231 transfer case
Dana 30 front/44 rear
3" lift + 1" body lift, fixed RE front lower control arms
