Hey all,

Recent front-end collision with my 2015 JKU and need some advice.
Front bumper needs replacing and have a strong whistle coming from somewhere on the front passenger side.

Insurance deductible is high so I'm going to take it to my local shop first to see if there is frame damage before I take it up with insurance.

If the cost is lower than the deductible I'd like to just reseal what I think is the windshield or passenger window and replace the bumper and grill myself.

Relevant photos here:

Just looking for advice on whether this is a viable plan.

Thanks!

Check for gaps around the doors and the top of the windshield, if the impact was hard enough it could have shifted something. Also, looking at the picture, it's very possible the front of the frames could be tweaked or bent inwards towards each other.

From the pic it looks like frame "horns" are bent inwards. Those "horns" or "rails" are replaceable parts and cost aprx 1000 each+ labor. ref #68050421AD
I would check alignment first.
