I have a 1997 Wrangler Sport I just installed a snow plow on. When I raise the plow the front end drops about 1 inch. Can anyone advise me on the best way to level my Jeep? Spring spacers? New springs?

This was just recently discussed and few few good option were given. I would recommend air shocks in front. Monroe MA763 or Gabriel Highjackers 49216. You will need a minor mod to your shock tower to accommodate the airline or you can just zip tie it to the shock. Check out the recent thread: http://www.wranglerforum.com/f5/level-front-of-tj-for-a-plow-130169.html

Also, Plowsite has a Jeep section. Most TJ plow guys are running the air shocks mentioned above..

Thanks Curro, I am researching the air shocks and air lift / air bags. So far I haven't found anything on any shock sites that say you can put air shocks in the front.

IDK for sure everyone-- says check with ?'Dirk dpg off road" 4 OME. I do know that when I had OME kit installed last year they checked my bumpers/swingout tire carrier and asked if I had a hardtop for winters. OME does make different setups for different "weight" based on assecories.

I had it installed to correct sag/droop in front end.

Good Luck

You wont find any shock site that has an air shock for a Wrangler but the ones I mentioned fit perfectly and are used often..

We just installed Airlift bags in a 2000 TJ 6 cyl and they seem to work great. Ours dropped at least an inch with the blade DOWN. It rode on the snubbers with the blade up. NOW, it sits level with the blade down and sags maybe an inch with the blade up, but since the bag is your bump stop its not bottoming like before.

Great suggestion from some guys here.....
