Coming back from a hunting trip I found myself stop at red light at a major intersection. When the light turn green I tried to take off. The jeep just died and would not start. People were blowing there horns like that's were I wanted to be. Standing in the middle of the street with a tow strap in hand someone finally pulled me to the gas station. It sounded like I was not getting any fuel, so I said maybe the fuel level gauge was wrong so I put some fuel in but still the same way no start. So I took out my phone not to call for help but too go to this forum to get some info and it helped. I was able to determine that the fuel pump was not getting fuel to engine. After a few checks I figured it was the pump. Then I used the phone to call for help.
$250.00 later it was up and running again. I decided to change the complete module it did cost a little more but i have 150ths miles didn't want to have to go back any time soon. It was a easy change anyone could do it. I just want to say thanks for all the info I get from this forum I read a lot of threads on my iPhone. I don't give much feed back to help out others but I'm still new but learning a lot.

Yep, I changed my radiator the other day, no hitches whatsoever and felt completely confident in what I was doing because of this site. Great stuff here. I'm already glad I came upon this site!

this site has helped me change out a blower motor resistor, swap out the regulators in my doors. It definitely boosts my confidence on working on the jeep and cuts the time I would be spending monkeying around down. Me before finding this forum->:crash: me after->:punk::D

Yep,
First issue I had with my Jeep was a check engine warning and the code it displayed. It was an O2 sensor. Was able to determine EXACTLY which one it was and how to get that bugger out because of this forum.

Don't you know that when something fails that causes the vehicle to not run, it has to do this in the lousiest spot it can?!! Is that one of Murphy's Laws?

i am wondering if it is possible to have more then one fuel pump, in a YJ wrnagler.
i didn't look under the tank yet, but i can see clearly a a metal fuel pump placed at the driver side near the Carburator.
Is it possible that this is the main pump? how come fuel goes up to reach it?
or ther are another one below the tank?
