Hey, all

I recently swapped out my 2.5L motor for a 5.3L LS out of a 2004 Silverado and AW4 trans. I use it for my DD so it’s mostly on the highway and it runs at a pretty high rpm after I get up to around 50-55mph. I still have stock axles and gears while running 33” tires. Any suggestions on gear ratios for better highway performance or advice at all for a better ride with highway speeds?

Thanks!

IIRC ~1800-2000 RPM is the sweet spot on a 5.3L

with that setup you should be ~2k rpm at 65 mph.

4.10s sound like the hot ticket
