So you have 3.8L engine, however, still need to know if you are auto or manual and whether you have Dana 44 axles.

Auto and Dana 44s will be optimal with 5.38. Without Dana 44s you can only go as low as 5.13 gears ... which with a manual is actually very good. Still, even if you can't go 5.38, the 5.13 gears with an auto on 37s is very common and suitable.

Haven't taken it over 60 mph yet ... even on highway (which has been entertaining).

Anyway, at 60 mph on tires which I measured to be 33.25" mounted I am dead on 2,000 rpm, O/D, and ECO mode. After break-in, when I do take it to 70 mph I expect 2,500 rpm

Stupid question. I am new to this and just did some research. What did it cost to re gear?
Did the work myself. $600 for Yukon gears front and rear with master install kits. Most say labour to pay a shop would be about $700 for a total of $1300.
