I recently opened my glove box at night only to realize it had no light inside that goes on when you open the door. I did some research and to the best of my knowledge none of the JK's came with glove box lights despite having what looks like a switch mount on the left hand side of the door opening.

So at any rate I just ordered a 6" LED light strip and a glove box switch and I'm going to do a little DIY project. I will post pics and a parts list when I'm done for anyone else who wants to do it.

Sounds like a great project. I initially thought there was a light in the glove box until I placed my hand inside. I then realized that the engineers aimed the overhead light so precisely, that it gave the illusion the the glove box was illuminated, LOL. After that, I have been trying to think about a way to illuminate it. Looking forward to your solution!
