I ordered mine through alpha expedition. He gave me me a forum discount and had good customer service. Everywhere that I shopped offered the same free add ons so they must be dictated by Gobi. Great choice on the rack though, I love mine:thumb:

I paid $1450 for the stealth rack, wind deflector and ladder. I believe there was a price increase the month after I ordered so I don't know what you're finding now.

I ordered directly from Gobi and received free shipping free ladder and free extra accessory; I picked the sun roof rack. I added on the quick connect brackets and everything was $1750 and took 5 weeks. They were very helpful with ordering.

Thoroughly confused now... Just ruled out the Garvin because of the square tubing, a few posts about noise, and a lot of posts saying the finish was poor. Settled on the Gobi as so many seem to be big fans, but definitely don't want a lot of wind buffeting and noise... Its a lot of money to spend to deal with that all year.

Looks like I'll order through EAD when they have another sale on the Stealth with ladder as I want the sunroof rack, quick disconnects, and the front insulators.

Anyone have any further thoughts here? Any solutions?

Anyone know of a place where I might get a better price?

Not any wind noise when the hard top. Is on but a lot of buffeting when the soft top is on. Nothing you can do about it if u want a rack.
With that said I run topless whenever I can so it not a huge issue for me.
You can't beat the extra space it provides and one of the only options for me carrying my canoe with the soft top. Even if I only had the hard top I don't like the idea of options that require me to drill into it

I got mine from Trail duty. Not sure of what I paid although I remember was expensive and probably around $1300. Trail duty at the time at the best price out of all the reputable sites I checked. Good luck it's great rack
