I'm driving Frank's Jeep today, pulled up beside a new JK at the light.....he's all smiling, window down and glanced my direction....I returned the smile and congratualted him on the new Jeep (now he's grinning ear to ear)....he compliments me on my Jeep, I quickly educate him on the Jeepwave....light changes and I wished him well.....

OK..we need to start a rule. If you forget to wave at another Jeeper... then I propose you have to wave at 5 Toyota FJ cruisers. (There should be some sort of discipline right?)

Here in the Poconos, Jeeps are king, they are very plentiful. I'd say the wave percentage is close to 80%-90%. The new guys always seem to be the troublemakers.

I think we need a cross-functional team that is comprised of CJ, YJ, TJ and JK members to to address the gaps... (sorry, I just got out of one of those corporate meetings again)....

Best way to not forget to wave back is always be the one that waves first. Me and odhinns hands are always hanging outside of the window ready to strike. =D

Sadly In my area its nothing but rich snobby kids who would rather run you off the road or go faster than you then give a wave back. Mommy and daddy dident love them I guess =/

Whenever I get anyone even test driving a wrangler, I make them do the wave and I make sure they know all about it.

make them wave at Hummers.

I have also been the victim of the no notice wave. That's when you don't have enough time to wave back, or they didn't have enough time to see it, and then felt bad afterwards hoping that they didn't think I was one of those flapjacks that don't wave. :wavey:

the past few days I've had the sunrider part of the soft top open and I have been waving out the top and the ROR (rate of return) is MUCH higher. I even had an old lady probably 70+ years old pull up beside me with her top off of her jeep the other day and she was all smiles and waving.
