Upgraded to some 33s. BFG A/T KO 33x10.5x15. Upgraded from BFG A/T KO 32x11.5x15 which were bald! I have a D44 so I'm not worried about the axle or anything with moving up a little bit. I have 3.73 gears and a I6. Haven't taken it on the freeway yet.

PICS!

My question now is do the tires look too big for the lift? Im not sure what lift is on there, the PO installed it. Im pretty sure its not a BB so I might get one of these to give it some more room. Also might get a tire carrier to take some weight off the gate. Any opinions?

I personally think its a little tight in there. I'd guess you've got a lift on there currently...maybe boost it with a 1.25" body lift and call it good.

I've got about 8" of clearance with my fenders and tire both front and rear on 35's to still be able to fully flex...

I really don't want to do a body lift. I hate the way the gap looks between the tub and frame.

a 1.25" body lift is barely noticeable...especially when you black out whats behind it

it also allows for you to do a tummy tuck which is what i'll be doing shortly...full belly up skid, gas tank skid, and adjustable arms. Body lift needed for that.

Adjustable control arms don't need a body lift
Most gas tank skids need a body lift but not all aftermarket ones

Looks nice but you need more clearance for articulation I have a 4" lift on mine with 33s plenty of clearance. Me personally I won't do a body lift to rough on the tub.

how so? the tub already sits on 11 pucks

personally, i have a 1.25" bl and that allowed me to raise my belly skid ~3.5". then i dropped my gts and cut the hanging brackets, lowered them 1" and re-welded them giving me an extra inch of clearance for my GTS for an hours time and some welding wire. I dont see a reason to go higher than 1.25" though

they also make certain things a lot easier. cleaning mud, dropping driveshaft, accessing certain bolts, etc.

How about if I did a 3/4 inch BB up front and some tube fenders? would that give me enough room to get some flex? I don't really want a BL and a whole front and back 2 inch BB would probably give me drive line vibes, causing me to do a TC drop or a SYE which I dont really want to venture into.
