So I have a pile of parts showing up at my house including finally moving my whole front steering setup to Yeti. In the Qtech instructions it mentions greasing the tie rod ends. What grease is everyone using or does it not really matter?

After doing a lot of research, I ended up with Schaeffer #238 NLGI #2 grease for my Yeti drag link & tie rod and Dynatrac ProSteer ball joints. However, I think regular maintenance is more important than what grease you use.

What ever grease is in your gun, or if you need to buy, any brand of regular multipurpose grease with be sufficient.

When I've asked Ron he's never recommended anything specific, just whatever grease you use on your other greasable joints.

The boots have one way purge valves, you'll know when you've used too much.

I've been using this. It was like $5 at walmart and I figured my heavy duty tie rod deserved heavy duty grease.

There all good grease.... only needs a little squirt (shot) when greasing. Over greasing gets you nowhere.
