A couple of weeks ago while pulling into my parking space at work, I noticed a grinding type noise which rattled the Jeep a little. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to what this could be? Bearings possible? Differential fluid?

The sound is coming from the FR axle only at full lock and only when making sharp right turns. The way it sounded was almost like my tires were rubbing against the fender wall, but I cannot find any scuff marks or anything like that. Whatever is making the sound rattles the Jeep a little. The tires I'm running (came with the Jeep) are 31.6" Cooper Discovery's. If any more information is needed, please ask. I'd like to figure this out before I do any more possible damage.

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like your tire is rubbing if it only makes the noise at full lock. Adjust your steering stops.

Well, thats a relief. I was hoping thats what the problem was, but I haven't had a chance to have a buddy look while I drove it at full lock. Thanks for the reply.
