As far as a shampoo, it's really not that important. Pick something on the thicker side so it'll lather easier in a bucket. Thanks guys! Hand wash it is. =) any particular products? (wax and shampoo).
Thanks for the advice. =)jeffk42 said:As far as a shampoo, it's really not that important. Pick something on the thicker side so it'll lather easier in a bucket.
Wax varies to personal taste, personally I prefer the paste waxes because they last a lot longer than spray wax. Specifically, I like the Maguiar's Tech Wax 2.0 for the painted surfaces (taking care not to touch the plastic/rubber stuff), then Turtle Wax Ice paste polish on the platic/rubber components, plus the areas immediately surrounding them that I may have missed with the Maguiar's because I didn't want to accidentally touch the non-painted parts. Then 303 Protectant on the soft top.
Oh, and Turtle Wax Ice Interior for the inside -- it does an AWESOME job of cleaning off scuff marks and whatnot.
Holy crap you guys...it's a quarter a minute here...lolX2, except it's only $1 here.
For $3, I can do the entire Jeep as well as underneath.
Mine is less than a quarter..... $1 for 5min.= .20 cents per minute.Holy crap you guys...it's a quarter a minute here...lol
Unfortunately, last time I blew nearly $5 doing everything I could to my Jeep. Pulled it out and it looked just as dirty as it was when I pulled in. Now I let the rain wash it.
