First time taking the top and doors off my JKU. What do I need to do to disable the tailgate open warning and the interior lights staying on. On the TJ it was just a fuse.

When you unplug the wire harness it will deactivate the door lights, you won't have to do anything else.

Your tailgate isn't closing, or the sensor is broke.

The hard top being off doesn't trigger the tail gate sensor.

I meant lift gate. Either way lights and warning are gone now.
