My guess would be that it's probably similar to the JKU. Though it looks like it doesn't have the back lift glass that the JKU has and instead will be a fixed panel.

I'm sure it will be easy to get a hard top hoist to latch on, or have 2-3 people lift it off.

It would be really nice if 1 person could remove it and stow it in the bed.

That would depend a lot on how it was built. If you can break it down into multiple pieces you could do that. And if the factory hard top isn't built like that, the aftermarket could design a "stowable" hard top with a rack that fits in the bed. Hmmm....

My concern is that its going to be similar to the one on the JK/JL unlimited and without having a back hatch....its going to be super clunky to remove without having a hoist in the garage. Not a fan of the hoist.

It should be lighter than either the JL, both the 2 and 4 door, since it only has a glass in the rear. I would expect it to be a 2 person job, but not very difficult.

I'll post after I remove the hard top on my Gladiator either today or tomorrow morning on how it goes. I did watch a video of one guy taking the back of the hard top off by himself, but he did struggle getting it down. In the mean time, I do have a hard-top question. There's two rubber feet looking things in the pouch of the hard top storage bag. Any ideas what they're for? My link to the owners manual isn't working on the Mopar website, or I'd look it up there.

I took the top off the Gladiator this morning, and it was very easy. One electric clip to unplug and 8 screws. My wife and I were able to take it off without straining ourselves. It's not very heavy. My guess is around 100 pounds. The whole task took about 10 minutes.

There's two rubber feet looking things in the pouch of the hard top storage bag. Any ideas what they're for? My link to the owners manual isn't working on the Mopar website, or I'd look it up there.
Any idea on what those do?

Educated guess is that they are for the back part of the hard top when you take it off. They seem to fit over the front tips that stick out of it. These are the tips that the bolt goes through from the top of the Jeep. The rubber "feet" fit over the tips when you store it.

Interesting. My initial thoughts were spacers for the top of the hard top bag but this makes sense regarding the hard top. I'll give it a try when we finally string together a few consecutive dry days here in MA.

Got an official answer on the rubber feet things in the hard top storage bag. They are for covering the two exposed holes after you unscrew the screws from the top part of the roof. They are for keeping gunk from getting in those two screw holes. Only needed when you have the entire hard top removed. Gunk prevention covers.

I finally got through almost 600 pages of the owner's manual and found this blurb about the hard top:
"There is a pouch located on the front of the bag to store the
hard top edge protector that is used when the hard top is
not installed on the vehicle." So, the "official word" from my dealer was wrong. They aren't "gunk prevention covers". They are what I thought they were, edge protectors for the back of the hard top.

The rear of the hard top appears small enough that I think I could open the sliding rear glass, stick my arm through, and lift the top off myself. May try that this week.

This is how I think it would be used only because you can't stand it up by itself like the JL or JLU hardtops.

My fault. Didn't read this. Thought the rubber blocks were for the white tabs on the top when storing them.
