Does the hardtop you are buying have vents at the back windows?I'm getting ready to pick up a hardtop on Saturday. I have a 2000 Jeep wrangler. I know it was equipped for a hardtop because it has the harness in the back for the defroster and wiper and the buttons are already installed up front.
My question is what all do I need to remove from the soft top to get the hard top to fit. I'm assuming the back framing and the bar going across the top but is there anything else I need to remove. Also I saw a post where someone used 5/16 bolt with wing nuts to secure the hardtop on. Does that size bolt sound right. I just don't want to travel 3 hours and not have everything I need. All information necessary would be greatly appreciated.
