I just acquired a very nice late (2005 or 2006) TJ series hardtop to go on my 2003 Wrangler. It fit's like a glove and the wiring on my Jeep body plugged right into the harness on the top. Wiper, sprayer, and defogger all work. The only problem is the wiper gets stuck on the lower part of its travel between the window and the back of the center light, which is mounted behind the spare tire. Has anyone encountered this? I appreciate any thoughts on this.

I resolved it by placing spacers between the tire and the mount. I believe having a slightly larger tire than stock, plus having it inflated to 45 lbs. caused the problem. By inserting spacers on the top two bolts which in effect tilted the top of tire away from the Jeep body, and reducing air pressure to 30 lbs. seems to have resolved. Plus, if I ever buy a replacement blade, I'll look for one that does not protrude so much. Thanks. Hope this help others.
