New guy here, Wife was driving are new 2010 wrangler the other night and ask if we could get brighter headlights. We just got this jeep and I'm assuming its stock headlights. What's a good bright replacement bulb?

Also noticed one of the tail lights was lose. Tried tighten the screws and they were stripped out. Is this a common problem and what's a good fix?

There are plenty of upgrade options for your headlights. Nothing really cheap though. It is an H13 plug, so none of the upgrades commonly used will work. HIDs do not perform well in the stock housings. LED is the gold standard. They are not cheap. Trucklites are pretty good lights. A pair can be find south of $400. There is cheaper and more expesive.

Your taillight screw is either stripped or the nutsert it threads into is. Both are replaceable.

There's some good basic info. here depending upon how far you want to go: http://www.wranglerforum.com/f202/suggestions-for-simple-head-light-bulb-upgrade-1562473.html
I have the Phillips Xtreme bulbs in my 10 and it's a good basic upgrade. I'll just advise you on what not to put in; Sylvania Silverstars. They don't perform as advertised and have a short life. I've had the Phillips in for over 6 yrs. with no problems and they last. Good luck.
