How do you replace the headlamps on a 2010 Jeep Wrangler Sahara? All I can figure is that you remove the plastic clips that hold the front grill on, tip it down and then unscrew the mounting ring around the light. There's no way to reach in behind the light from the engine side, no room. Am I even close to correct?

You are exactly correct, but it's easier if you remove the grill altogether - after removing the plastic clips along the top, pull the top section away from the engine compartment then reach your free hand in between the grill and radiator and with a little light pressure the spring clips holding the bottom of the grill will pop free. The headlight trim ring and housing is held in by T-15 screws, so make sure you have the proper screwdriver to remove them. Magnetic tip makes it easier to make sure you don't drop one when removing or replacing the screws.

Shouldn't take more than a few minutes to pull the grill and remove the screws.

That is how it is on the 2013.
Do your self a favor when doing it.
Take a black marker or grease pencil
and put a mark across the very top
of both the headlight and ring.
This way you automatically have it
orientated right when reinstalling.
Also I didn't bother unplugging the
marker lights and just let it lean forward.

I did not pull the grill on my 12.
Went in from the top.
Pulled the hood open sensor and horn on the driver side to pull the bulb.
Passenger side had to pull the air box and the bolt holding the ps reservoir.
Sounds harder than it is.
Bad part of pulling the grill is that you are going to messup one or more of the plastic bolts
