I have had my 2011 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon for about a year now. This will be my second winter. The heat and defrost seem to not work properly. The defrost works partially but no warm air comes out when I put the heat on. Is this typical? What do you think it could be?

Thank you for your advice,
Paige

That happened twice to my 2012. First time I had to pull blend motor out on right side and reset it the next time was the left side blend motor. It came unhooked so was stuck in the cooling position. Right one you can get to behind glove box but it sounds like it's the left one . It's the one that changes it from going across hot , cold, or vent. Unless you're a small contortionist I had to pull drivers seat out to lay in there and take off some plastic panels to get to it. Not bad now that I've done it twice.
