So today I removed the fan and put in the new one. But before I put it in i tested it and I showed contintinuty between the two wires. Now I know there should not be, but not sure on this. Testeded with a batt. and it ran. I put it in and it ran good for about 30 min then it melted the wire and no more heater fan. Does any one have any ideas?:banghead:

Sorry for the spelling I work Graveyard, and was tired. So I put in an inline relay but it wont switch speeds. This is ok for me so lets see if this helps.

Continuity on the wires just told you that the brushes of the motor were contacting the communtator and a complete path was there. Good motor. Why the wire melted wrong motor, drawing too many amps maybe to ground you will have to check the integrity of the wiring and maybe the motor was bad. Tough question.
