Hey guys. Need a new fan switch for my heater, which was only 10$ but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the old one out...there are no screws. pic below. Thanks.

No. I haven't touched it...saw there were no screws and thought I'd ask before making things worse. Thanks.

I have not pulled one out but it really looks like it is a simple pull out push the new one back in.

heater switch has screws in the front. no rheostat on yj heater.

A rheostat, or variable resistor between the switch and heater fan is located on the passanger side in the duct work of my 95 Jeep YJ.

i was refering to a rheostat that was adjustable by a human sitting inside the jeep. not a vaiable resistor that changes resistance due to temp changes.
