I really wana lift my 98 Sahara. My problem is I can't decide on my specs. It isn't going to be a crawler. Really all I'm shooting for is a beefier look and a little bit more suspension travel. If I decide on a 2.5" BB I'm pretty sure I can run a 33x10.5x15 tire. Is it possible to fit a 35x12.5x15 tire? As well anybody with any pics running those would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys! :thumb:

Why not go with a spring lift of 3 inches and a 1.25" body lift w/ 1"Motor Mount lift? You will have all of the room you'll need for those 33s, and can run 35s in the future.

My friend to the left is running 2.5" springs and a 1.25" body lift & 1" motor mount combo from Zone.

Beautiful Jeep! My problem at the moment is my High schoolers budget :banghead: I figured if I just ran a Budget Boost for now until I get the finances for a full lift. This is definitely a contender for that. Thanks for the reply.

if you want to run 35s, be ready to shell out a lot of coin. there are lots of issues that will need to be addressed in order to support a 35" tire.

a 2.5-3 SL combined with a 1.25 BL would be a great introduction to 33" tires. (33x10.5 would be the easiest route)

What's your budget including labor if you do not do it yourself?

Yes you cn put on 33's with a 2"bb but do not expect full capability off road. 35's no

About the cheapest you can go to clear 33's is a 2" BB with bumpstops with a 1"BL. That is about $200.

$1,000 give or take. I lucked out because our neighbor owns a paint and body shop. He really cuts me a deal on labor prices.

Brother I'd be all over the Zone combo lift. 3 inch suspension with a 1.25 inch body. rest for tires and wheels.

Or I'd go straight zone 3 inch and go alloy wheels and run 32x11.50's

Without regearing your ride will be a dog with 33's. 32's won't be near as bad with alloys as they won't weigh much more than the stock steel wheels and 28's.

I would try to do as much as possible myself, if you have the time, and patience.

Thanks! I had a feeling I would have to change the gears. Don't really wanna get that in depth (yet). That Zone lift with the 32s would be about perfect. Thanks!

I've got pictures of my TJ on 3" suspension lift and 32's...3" suspension lift and 1.25" body lift and 32's...3" suspension lift and 1.25" body lift with tube fenders and flat flares on 32's...and ultimately 3" suspension lift, 1.25" body lift, tube fenders, flat flares, and 35's.

as they mentioned...going to cost you a lot of money to run the 35's so i urge you against that.

If you're still in high school just do BB and body lift for your 33s. I have 2" bb and trimmed flares for my 33s. I'd imagine you want to stay away since you have a Sahara. So get the body lift with that.

As far as gears I have automatic with 3.07s. It's not bad at all. It's manageable. Not a huge loss of power. You can definitely notice it but its not bad. You'd be fine until you could afford for the swap.

Request a build sheet to see what gears you have (unless you already know): Contact Jeep

If you're just going to buy a full lift in the future, why waste money on a budget boost? Go with springs and a body lift. Also, OME has great quality springs, much better than zone can offer due to choice of spring rate.
