I have one of those navigation/HD/dvd/cd/radio touch-screen systems in my 2008 jku and today it stopped turning on....black screen only....sometimes it looked like it would try to turn on and flash the "UConnect" screen for a few seconds, then turn off again. The fuse is not blown. Anyone ever had this issue? Or know what I can try to fix it?

I have a 2012 with the 730N RHR.
A couple weeks ago my hard drive froze, and that froze my screen.
If I turned the jeep on (it had to be off for about 10 minutes to reset the radio), I would have about 5 seconds to change settings. If I could get it to FM in time, I could use my radio.

To fix.... I deleted all music on my HDD (under settings). I figure it must have been a corrupt mp3 file that the system was hanging on.

This sounds similar to your problem... try changing radio modes as soon as you put your key in.
