It doesn't work quite that way. You'd have to prove the mod didn't cause the problem. If the dealer denies the repair blaming the mod your Jeep sits in the dealers lot and nothing gets done to it, or you take it home with nothing getting done to it. Either way you'd probably end up in court trying to prove the mod didn't cause the problem, at least that's how it worked when I was working in the car business.I bought a 2013 JKU with the Mopar Maximum Care warranty that covers 5000 components. My thinking is I got the warranty to cover the engine and the transmission. The dealership has to prove it was the lift that caused it. A good install shouldn't cause any problems and most of those parts have pretty good warranties.
