New to forum, it is pretty iced up
Today in Oklahoma. While going to work today in my 09 wrangler I managed to put it in a rather large ditch. Finally able to get it out but have now realized the front axle is not centered. The jeep has an 2.5 pro comp lift I know the rear can be recentered with the cam bolt just not sure about how to adjust/ fix the front axle, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

I did do that I am now starting to wonder if it has always been like that I put the lift on myself about three weeks ago and was so concerned with getting the rear centered I don't really remember checking the front. The pro comp lift was supposed to have been 2.5 ended up being more like 4. I would think there should have been some kind of adjust/bracket cam bolt for the front as well. Do you think it could have shifted that much just from the added lift?

Well the higher the Jeep is lifted, the more it's going to want to pull the axle to the driver's side. Most lift kits will come with relocation brackets for the rear track bar and nothing for the front. A little bit more tire sticking out on the driver's side after a suspension lift is *normal*, although replacing your track bar with an adjustable track bar will pull that front axle center again.

The stock track bar is a set length, going from (facing front) the left side of your front axle to the right side of your frame. As you increase the distance between the axle and the frame, the track bar is going to pull the axle to the right.

If your tire/wheel is sticking out a significant amount on one side, and you're dog-legging it down the road, you might have suspension problems.:doh:

I just went and measured it and it's about 3/4" so it would need to move 3/8" you think I should put an adjustable track bar in. Going to have it aligned on Tuesday. I see exactly what you are talking about, had a buddy push down on front end and that moves it back to center quite a bit. The guys at four wheel parts have one in stock for 180.00 then another 50.00 to install it looks pretty straight forward install

Here is how I decided to park it this morning
I like your style :cool:

The price isn't bad. You can find them online between $130-200. If you have some basic tools you can do the install yourself in just over an hour and save the $50 for another mod :punk:

If you have the cash, go for it. You can avoid more potential problems down the road.

You know which if any of the track bars are better than the others I will for sure put it on myself as I really don't trust them to even tighten the bolts to the correct torque.

I put an AEV 4.5" lift on my 08 JKU. I ended up using JKS adjustable track bars front and rear, and am happy with them. I hear good things about the Tereflex bars as well.
